Our Industries
Kodiak has a long history being a prominent contributor to Alaska's commercial fishing industry. With large processing plants like Trident, Ocean Beauty, and more on the island, much of our economy is interwoven into the fishing industry. However, Kodiak is abundant in other industries. Healthcare, construction, energy, aerospace and more are all participants in Kodiak's economy. We are excited to join forces with these organization and strengthen Kodiak's present and future economy.
